LO5: Influences for my Shots

Top Boy:
Both of these TV series' have a social realism style, one set in London and the other set in New York. They both aim to be filmed in a way that could connote that these are real events and real people. This style will then further immerse the audience into the products. My short film also has these elements of social realism as I attempted to make the product look as close to real life as possible through shot types, locations, costumes and language used. Overall Top Boy and Power were my main influences for this product and they are sometimes referenced throughout my film, in dialogue and imitations of locations and plot events.
